Bruce Lambert inducted into the Sam Houston High School
Hall of Fame
The story of Sam Houston High School can not be told without the illustrious history of the Pride and Spirit Band under the direction of Bruce Lambert. For decades the Pride and Spirit has been central to the tremendous growth and achievements of both the school and the Moss Bluff Community. Bruce was honored this year with induction into the SHHS Hall of Fame.
Anna Lou Babin Acknowledged for
LMEA Distinguished Legacy Award
Anna Lou Babin’s name is synonymous with the extraordinary history of music education in Southwest Louisiana schools. Her leadership has likewise been felt all across the state in a multitude of roles for both LMEA and the Louisiana Choral Foundation. The presentation of LMEA’s Distinguished Legacy Award was recently done in the spring concert of the Louisiana Masterworks Chorale.
