Bele Chere - The Southeast's Favorite Street Festival

Welcome to the 31st Year of the Bele Chere Festival!

July 24-26, 2009

The Bele Chere Festival is an annual 3-day festival on the streets of historic Downtown Asheville. The festival features four stages of free- live music and an impressive array of arts and crafts; as well as entertainment and activities for children. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains of Western North Carolina- come join us for one of the Southeast's largest free outdoor street festivals. It’s not just our website that looks different – the festival will too! We are a little smaller in 2009 than we used to be. And welcome to the Asheville Civic Center! 2009 ENTERTAINMENT
All scheduled performances at the 2009 Bele Chere Festival will be absolutely undeniably FREE!  There will be no gated concerts and no tickets necessary to experience the 2009 musical lineup.

Asheville Radio - Indy Music at its Best!

JukeboxAlive.com is a growing and influential music and social networking site.
