MG IN SAINT LOUIS & NEW YORK CITY
It's been almost a year since Tony Montano made his permanent move to New York to establish Montano Grant in the country's trendiest city. He says, "The experience reminds me so much of when I started Montano Grant in St. Louis. I started from scratch out of my two bedroom condo in the West End. Fortunately, in NYC where Tony maintains a TINY apartment in the West Village, he doesn't have to do any of the work out of his living quarters. When in NYC, he does his work out of the fashionable boutique hotel in midtown Manhattan called the Flatotel. Celebrities from Joan Collins to the band Coldplay like to stay at this hotel because it provides them not only first class accommodations but a certain degree of anonymity within the big city. Most recently the Flatotel was featured as the residence of Project Runway's fabulous four finalists during New York's Fashion Week.

While Montano continues to pound (literally sometimes!) the streets of the Big Apple, Doug Wadleigh has been effectively running the show in St. Louis. Doug came into the floral world in 2000 without much experience with flowers. "It's great because the style of floral design that I know is exactly the style that I learned from Tony," says Doug. That's a good thing because even during Tony's absence from St. Louis the quality of workmanship and design still has the same intensity and fullness that Montano Grant has become know for around town.

During the day to day operations, Doug is assisted by Colleen Wilson. Colleen was a Montano Grant bride who wrote Tony a thank you note which ended with an offer to help if needed and in the process learn floral design. Starting out as a part-time event staffer three years ago, she is now a permanent member of the MG family!

WEEKLY FLOWER SALES EASY ON THE BUDGET
Every week our wholesale floral suppliers offer Montano Grant special pricing on certain types of flowers. Usually, the varieties on sale would be seasonal flowers such as coxcomb in the late summer and early fall or gerbera daisies in the spring. Sometimes even exotic orchids are offered as instant specials! At Montano Grant it has always been the policy to pass on the savings to their clients. How else do you think do they fill up all those vases with beaucoup fleurs for not a whole lot??? Beginning in November, Montano Grant can tell their clients, a week in advance, as to what flowers will be on sale. Therefore, if you're on a budget or perhaps working on a fundraising event with limited budget for decor, call Montano Grant at 314.863.6386 a week before your event and find out what kinds of savings they can pass on to you! Sorry, this offer is only available in Saint Louis.

MG FLORALS AT WORLD SERIES PARTIES

Montano Grant was tapped to provide floral decorations for Major League Baseball's 2006 World Series Parties. The parties were staged by Los Angeles based event company, Party Planners West, Inc. Two years ago, they had enlisted Montano Grant's services as well for the 2004 MLB World Series Parties also held in Saint Louis.

MG BRIDAL CELEBRATIONS AND EVENTS
Within a few months of existence, Montano Grant began staging the most distinctive weddings in St. Louis. In fact, since 1999 Montano Grant has designed a few of St. Louis' most notable weddings and events. As a result, a perception around town that Montano Grant's custom events are too expensive had been formed. Tony Montano wants to assure everyone that whilst Montano Grant florals and events are indeed distinctive and elegant, pricing for its products and services are competitive. In fact, one can argue that MG Florals are well worth the price for the amount of flowers, quality of design and exceptional service its clients receive. Please call 314.863.6386 to inquire about MG wedding packages.
