Retreat to the mystical wonder of Peru
On July 25th to August 4th of 2008 Healing-Spirits would like
to invite you to join us along with a group of Healers, Educators,
Teachers, Therapists, & Shamans into the mysterious and mystical land
of Peru for The Next Dimension in Alternative Health, Fitness, &
Retreat.......The Journey
On this majikal journey we will offer Yoga, Tai Chi, Mixed Martial
Arts, & Chakrasize. We will provide healing therapies such as Therapeutic
Massage, Acupuncture, Energy Therapy, Reflexology, & Medicinal Solar
Baths.
We will provide classes and workshops such as Chi Gong, Eating for
the season, Shamanic meditations, walks through medicinal herb gardens,
and more. Each participant will receive a copy of their Astrology / Natal
chart and have an opportunity to have a coco-leaf reading from one of the
local Shamans.
And of course this journey will visit some of the very sacred &
mysterious sites of Peru including the Mystical Wonder; Machu Picchu.

As the year ends we ask you to welcome the Winter Solstice
Dec. 22, 2007. The winter solstice marks the shortest day and the longest
night of the year. The sun appears at it's lowest point in the sky and the
northern half of the earth is tilted away from the Sun. Because of this
tilt, the Northern Hemisphere receives less direct sunlight creating the
Winter. The Latin root solstitium, sol meaning "sun" and stitium meaning
a stoppage. In essence the stopping of the sun.
As Healing-Spirits we feel it is important to be aware of the natural
cycles of the earth & the purpose to celebrate the holy-day we as a human
family may share with each other without segregation. May this season
bring you much awareness, peace, & positive vibrations.
As the cycles of the moon turns we send the energy of festivity &
light, may this year intertwine us as a whole rather than separating us
with war.
