Evensong at St. Philip’s Church - 3:30 PM Sunday 2/24 Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori and Canon Robertson will be present at a 3:30 PM Evensong service at St. Philip’s Church, Charleston on Sunday 2/24.

A Reception in the Parish Hall will follow at 4:15 PM. The Presiding Bishop will address people in the Parish Hall.

All are welcomed and encouraged to attend. This will be the first opportunity to greet Bishop Katharine in our Diocese.

Bishop Gadsden Community to receive Bishop Katharine On Monday 2/25 Bishop Katharine will visit the Bishop Gadsden Community at 5:30 pm. The Bishop Gadsden Community will have an opportunity to greet her. Link to Bishop Gadsden Community Website

Overview of Bishop Katharine's Visit Diocesan Leaders The Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori will visit the Diocese February 24-25.

Bishop Mark Lawrence invites everyone to join in welcoming the Presiding Bishop to our Diocese February 24-25. The Presiding Bishop will join us in a service of Evensong at St. Philip’s Church, 142 Church Street, Charleston, on Sunday February 24 at 3:30 p.m. Following the service the Presiding Bishop will address those gathered for a reception. ..........

“We look forward to our time with Bishop Jefferts Schori,” said Bishop Mark Lawrence. “We want to welcome her, bear witness to the work God is doing in our midst, and have time for open communication.”

While in the Diocese the Presiding Bishop will tour various diocesan institutions and churches and meet with a number of clergy and ministry leaders.............

DVD released of EFSC Conference addressing unity and schism in TEC Episcopal Church leaders Bonnie Anderson, Sally Johnson and Frank Wade discussed issues of Unity and Schism in The Episcopal Church and the Anglican Community. A panel Q & A discussion including the speakers and Bishop Salmon is included.

Bonnie Anderson, D.D. is President of the House of Deputies, the highest ranking lay office in The Episcopal Church.

Sally Johnson, Esq. is Chancellor to the President of the House of Deputies.

The Rev Frank Wade is a prominent speaker and consultant and was chaplain to the House of Deputies at the 2003 General Convention.
