McNair Middle School
The Ozark Blues Society visited the  McNair Middle School in Fayetteville yesterday (March 13),  to talk about the blues and play for the students.
 

 
Performers included local blues musicians Ocie Fisher, vocals; David Kimbrough, lead guitar; and Clare Starr, bass.
 
Sandy McCann of the Ozark Blues Society, talked to the students about the history of the blues and the difference in rhythm between traditional music and the blues.

21c Museum Hotel Bentonville will host a preview of the Blues in the Natural State Festival. (The festival is held on April 3-5 in Fayetteville).
 
Celebrated blues artist, Little Joe McLerran from Tulsa, Oklahoma will be the featured artist.
 
Tickets: $10
