Grail Points
In Western Esoteric traditions, they have the concept of “Grail Points.” These are energetic points either in the human energy body or in the energy system of larger structures such as places or temples where energy and information from other levels, planes, or realms of existence can enter. At grail points there can be an exchange of energy and information that raises the entire complexity of the energy system.
This information comes from "Sacred Geometry: Foundation Training" by Robert Gilbert, Ph.D. of the Vesica Institute http://www.vesica.org/ In that training Dr. Gilbert states that “the Grail is a receptacle for a divine essence." He goes on to talk about "grail points" which in his description is "a place in the manifest world, or it could be in the human body, where a divine essence enters the physical world." Examples of grail points could be individual chakras, acupuncture points, or something called energy wells which are certain spots in a room or place which are fountains of energy and light. An archetypal image of a grail point is the chalice.
Dr. Mikio Sankey presents a similar view when he discusses each individual acupuncture point. He refers to the acupuncture points as “spin points” which he studied from "The Book of Knowledge: the Keys of Enoch" by J. J. Hurtak, Ph.D. Dr. Sankey states that “the physical acupuncture needle at each spin point site functions as an antenna which can be thought of as a conduit for connecting the wave frequencies of the axiatonal grid system downward through the etheric body into the dense physical body. . . It is important to understand that the etheric body penetrates every cell of the dense physical body, as well as extending outward from the dense physical body.” (p. 30, Sankey, 1999)
In a recent study on the use of acupuncture for lower back pain by Cherkin et al., it was shown that both regular acupuncture as well as simulated acupuncture without penetration of the needles into the skin but using a toothpick at appropriate acupuncture sites at the surface of the skin yielded significant and similar results over the control group who received no treatment (Arch Intern Med. 2009;169(9):858-866). This strongly suggests that a possible mechanism of action in acupuncture is the effect on the energy body (etheric body) and the appropriate points there rather than a specific point within the physical body. More research will have to be done but this study appears to support the metaphysical claims suggested by Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Sankey, and Dr. Hurtak mentioned above.

Broadcasting Towers
We are all broadcasting towers. Our thoughts, emotions, frequency of energy, speech, and actions broadcast and affect all the people and environments around us. This includes people whom we see in the physical world as well as those people who might not be close to us in physical proximity. When people are sensitive to other peoples’ thoughts, emotions, and energy they can feel the changes even at a distance. In this regard, we could also consider ourselves all healers since there is always the opportunity to transform negative frequencies of events, relationships, and places to higher frequencies simply through our presence and love.
In answering questions during lectures given at Harvard University in 1981, the Dalai Lama was asked how to best protect oneself from negative influences. He responded that "sometimes, when one has a bad dream or nightmare and awakens, even if one repeats mantra or meditates on a wheel of protection, these will not help, but when one cultivates love, it cures the situation. This is the best technique." (His Holiness the Dalai Lama, "The Dalai Lama at Harvard," 1989, p.153)
We tend to think of ourselves and others more like billiard balls (scientific materialism) rather than radiating fields (quantum mechanics). In fact a more accurate metaphor might be an interconnecting net where we are both a node in the net as well as the entire net (holographic model). Our consciousness and energy can traverse the entire net but our physical body and personality is perhaps a single node on that net.
