I'm writing to remind you that the DMITRI MATHENY GROUP will appear in concert tomorrow evening at SACRED GROUNDS JAZZ COFFEEHOUSE in Scottsdale.
Sacred Grounds offers audiences a relaxed, family-friendly concert atmosphere without distractions. Our performance Thursday will feature two of my longtime collaborators on tour--pianist Darrell Grant from Portland, Oregon and bassist Ruth Davies from San Francisco, California--together with two new friends from the Valley jazz scene--saxophonist Jerry Donato and drummer Dom Moio.
I'm thrilled to share the stage with these spectacularly talented musicians, and I hope you can join us for what promises to be a soulful and spirited evening of jazz.
