Casseroles for the month

New Glass
I picked up the latest "creations" the other day.  They're here.  New ornaments.  New vases.  New things.  Tra la!

Ready for the Nutcracker
I told you I'd show you a photo of the little girls who were here last week enjoying macaroni and cheese before going to the ballet.  here they are.  Look closely.  Some of them are NOT exactly displaying, um, "ladylike" faces.  (That is what I would have been doing if my mother had dressed me up!)

Taking a turn in the shop
I'm taking a bit of time off from cooking classes.  There is a hula hoop class starting in January on Wednesdays and I'm going to sign up.

Stay tuned here and I'll let you know when we're going to start 'em up again.  And by then I'll show you my newly learned hoop tricks!

A note from Laurey
Hi!

We had a blizzard! If you DON’T live here, you might have heard about it. We’re COVERED up with snow. Lots of it.

We worked yesterday as long as we could and then tried to get home. I made it all the way to my house but got there to no power so I scooped up the dog and turned back into town. We stayed at my sister’s for the night. A slumber party!

I made it to work this morning, tried to answer all the messages, did a little cooking (there were a couple parties that did not cancel.) Brendan walked in and cooked. Kris drove in and helped. I became dish babe. Tye is here in the office. Now all the food is cooked and picked up and we’re going to try to get home again. I hope the electricity is on. I love my sister but there is no place like home.

We had to cancel tonight’s Comfort and Joy dinner but decided to reschedule it for Wednesday. Give a call if you’d like to join us, okay?

I’m going to keep this short because I want to get going and it looks like it has started to snow again.

We’re not EQUIPPED for snow here! I, a Vermonter, laugh at it, but it is a serious matter when the roads are not plowed and no one has snow tires and, well, you know. We had about a foot of snow. A REAL snowstorm.

Okay – I’m going to get this out and head for home.

See you this week. Hopefully a couple of times!!!
