ACFN’s Best Year Ever

There is no doubt ACFN is rapidly growing. Franchise sales are up 15% compared to last year, new ATM Locating is significantly higher due to the great job Jim Diltz and his marketing team are doing and the acquisitions we have been engaged in (2 in the last 6 months and 3 new big ones on the table at the moment).

We also hired new people and shifted some around to accommodate our growing needs. Christina has moved from Franchising to the Marketing department where she now coordinates all new installs. Jacque  took her place and is doing really well keeping Turker (our Franchise Specialist) quite busy.  Accounting added Tania and Nicholas to its ranks and the Leads Department added Martina to better handle the growing demand for quality leads. Deepak has taken over our IT department over a month ago (from Andrew that has been with us for the last 4 years) and has been keeping it all humming.

It is of course a great pleasure to see our company moving forward in such a steady clip expanding our reach throughout the US and Canada while assisting our Franchisees (over 200 thus far) build a successful businesses and secure their retirement. What a fun place to be !.

Welcome Back to Marketing!

Hello All!  I would like to say I’m glad to be back in the Marketing Department. I went on Maternity leave in 2010 and when I came back a great opportunity opened up in the Franchising department. I was lucky to have the opportunity and flexibility that ACFN offered me. When I heard the National Accounts Coordinator position became available again, I was pleased that they asked if I wanted to return to my roots. I’m excited and I look forward to working with all the Franchisees in the near future. Thank you!

Location, Location, Location

Location, location, location.  Like real estate, the ATM business is all about location.  As an ACFN franchisee, I drank the kool-aid.  Jeff has developed a solid business model; a model that can make ACFN franchisees a lot of money.  I made a great decision in 2010 to become part of ACFN.

Most of my interactions with ACFN personnel are with Gershon Yakir…….Gershon is the ultimate professional.  His technical expertise are second to none.  He takes the time to teach you about the intricacies of your equipment.  His innate ability to problem solve from a distance while helping to minimize the frustration of this franchisee is outstanding.  Although I’ve never met Gershon in person, I’m comfortable calling him when anything goes wrong with my equipment.

On another note, with the help of ACFN, last summer I had the opportunity to acquire two Delta Sonic Car Wash locations in Syracuse.  Those locations rock!!!!  These two locations have increased my business significantly and Delta Sonic is planning to open a third location on the west side of Syracuse in the near future.

And finally, ACFN’s relationship with IHG was directly responsible for securing a contract for me with the largest hotel in Syracuse.  When I made the drop, I was excited to learn that the current ATM was out of order.  I couldn’t believe my luck.  Not only that, the ACFN sales person learned that the hotel was not pleased with the service they had been receiving.  Although ADA did not play a role with this location, service and having a relationship with IHG made it a no-brainer for the General Manager to switch to ACFN.  If the transaction activity continues at the same rate it has for the first week, this location will be a gold mine.

I’m excited about the future of my ATM business and I have all the confidence in the world that the professionals at ACFN will continue to work diligently to discover new money making opportunities for ACFN franchisees.

Through my experiences as the VP of Market Research, I have found that not every territory for a franchisee is the same. Each of you has cities and small towns that flourish in their own particular way. Every day I am constantly looking for new ideas to generate better quality leads in franchisees territories, and there is no better way than to go to the source which is all of you.

At the end of the day I really want to see this company to be as successful as I know it can. The leads department can generate as many leads as possible; which I’m proud to say we certainly have been this year, but we need the franchisees the running force of this company to visit these locations and make the drops needed. ACFN as a company is growing but it is up to you to work within a particular area and so growth is inevitable.

We hope you all are on the same path as we are to make ACFN better than ever and prove that we are unstoppable. Keep making those drops and we will keep sending you leads.
