Remo into the global spotlight. The Mexican born, self-described singjay, continues to amaze audiences with his rich vocals and reflective writing ability.

The first single titled How Long, an uplifting roots anthem, was released on the Reggae SoulJahs Worldwide compilation album and remains in heavy rotation across the reggae airwaves worldwide. It has been the featured single on Sgt. Remo’s Jango radio station and continues to harvest a growing audience for the artist. The video for the single How Long will be unveiled on the same date. The video was filmed in Florida during a chilly 3 days in February, 2012 by Munda Inc. Productions out of El Paso, TX. The album is a strictly digital release on the Jah Yutes Entertainment label and will be available for download at all all digital outlets and stream sites. Visit Sgt. 2. Tell Me Who (Jah Yutes Ent./Charlie's Records)

3. Thunder & Lightning (Jah Yutes Ent./Full Grown Studios)

4. Marie (Jah Yutes Ent./Hotta Lava Music)

5. How Long (Jah Yutes Ent./Dread I Arts/Ceremony Studios)

FROM SGT. REMO

This is an exciting time for me as I am gearing up to release my first solo EP. Although I have gotten the opportunity to release some of my music before (Mister Kali's Step Fast album [Loving, Loving], Reggae SoulJahs Worldwide Vol. 1 compilation, Brighter Smile Riddim album, Serious Love Riddim album, Dawtah

single release) this is the first official Sgt. Remo solo album. Putting this project together has been a great experience and I am proud to be sharing this with all the Reggae music fans that have supported me through the years. This is my best work to date and I hope it's well received and shared to the masses. I've had the pleasure of working with some great producers on this project and I am thankful for their support and their input on each and every song.

There are five songs, each with its own unique story, and each with a different producer's personal touch...all with my original lyrical inspiration. The songs vary from the haunting lyrics and heavy roots riddim of Thunder & Lightning...to the uplifting dancehall riddim and message of No Man Stranded. You have the hypnotic dub riddim and beautiful vocal delivery of Tell Me Who ... and the unforgettable chorus of Marie (If you don't listen closely you would think this is a love song). All rounded of by the hit tune How Long

...this one needs no introduction...just check it out.

FIELD 14: REGGAE Category

50: Best Reggae Album

045 Jah Golden Throne - Various Artists

052 Masterpiece - Glen Washington

On Masterpiece, Glen Washington lends not just his voice but his soul to a masterpiece of both message and music including serious conscious roots and playful lovers reggae. Signature Zion I Kings arrangements emphasize layers of sound in which the interplay of percussion, breezy horns and bubbling bass lines tell a story themselves. Here, Washington's husky vocals lead the listener on a reggae journey inspired by soul, mento and gospel. The record earned praise and a "high recommendation" from the CD Hot List which also acknowledged Masterpiece proves Washington's "energy and the quality of his songwriting haven't flagged a bit".

Jah Golden Throne is a various artist compilation delivering a rich, full-bodied survey of the best in contemporary roots from the most respected voices and rising stars in reggae such as Cornell Campbell, Jahdan Blakkamore, Lutan Fyah, Toussaint and more. Featuring artists old and new from across the reggae spectrum, Jah Golden Throne offers a seat at the reggae table where the roots of the music and the message stimulate heart, mind and soul. Exclaim! Magazine praises "the diversity of Jamaican musical culture, with strong doses of soul music and a touch of blues" featured across the album's 16 tracks. "Top notch material". And United Reggae noted, "Compilations are usually not as cohesive and solid as Jah Golden Throne, which makes this is a highly impressive album".

Zion High Productions' Elliott Leib thanked the artists and A-Train Entertainment for the milestones reached by both albums. "It's a great honor to be selected among such company. Music is a journey and Zion High Productions is grateful to A-Train for being a part of our journey, one that has only just begun. We're looking forward to taking both Masterpiece and Jah Golden Throne all the way to the final round of nominations".

And A-Train is going full speed ahead as well. "Congratulations to Zion High Productions, Glen Washington and the artists featured on Jah Golden Throne," said A-Train CEO, Al Evers. "These are two very deserving albums and if it comes down to it, I wouldn't want to be the one to have to decide which one gets the final nod. Regardless, we are proud to play our part and encourage reggae and world music fans to support these artists."

McPullish :: Black Metal White Reggae

McPULLISH aka Carson Hoovestol realized his sound after years of musical exploration, study, and practice in the art of Live Dub. Now based in Austin, Texas, he operates a specialized music laboratory called Gray Labs, where he plays guitar, bass, drums, piano, organ, percussion, Roland TR-909, synths and more, with guests laying down horns, vocals and other instruments. McPullish mixes live and direct from tape machines and PCs, using an Allen and Heath board and table full of mostly analog gear. Luciano, Sylford Walker, General Smiley, Tippa Irie, Fantan Mojah, Mark Wonder, Murray Man, Ginjah, Island Rose, Lutan Fyah, Judge, Jahn TI, Aimann Raad, Ken Serious, Remo and Chezidek are just some of the vocalists who have worked with McPullish in the studio and can be heard in his live dub sets.  Black Metal White Reggae was recorded in Texas during the scorched-Earth summer of 2011, during which time crops failed, huge cracks appeared all over the bone-dry McPullish yard and a ghost town was discovered under a dried up lake in central Texas.  It was an ominous, frustrating and sweaty time for the McPullish clan. The album's main tracks were cut live on a TEAC 3440 reel to reel tape machine.  McPullish played all instruments other than horns and flute (contributed graciously by Joe Woullard and Derek Phelps.)  Black Metal White Reggae is a departure from previous McPullish recordings and at the same time will be instantly recognizable to those familiar with his sound, as he pushes further out into new sonic territories and continues to experiment.

Black Metal White Reggae can be listened to and pre-ordered on 180 gram vinyl at McPullish & Charlie's Records Web Shop  .

More info, music and videos of McPullish can be found at www.mcpullish.com
