It was SO MUCH FUN and an honor to get to hang out with Puerto Rico's Prodigal Son, WorldClass Boxing Champion, Felix "Tito" Trinidad, above with volunteer Ina! His daughter is one of the students on the student council at Commonwealth High who came to help out. Just look at this GORGEOUS crew we had from Commonwealth High, St John's and Parkville schools (below). The bunch was so intent on their work that we finished our Saturday cleanup in record time! It was a joy to see the adults set the pace with hard work and fun. What a GREAT example these parents are!!

Our 'FUN PHOTO DAY' activity in October with Marilina Davila from Silver & Pixel photography was a real blast and some of our good friends (volunteer Roberta, Lucas and Elo right) came out to support us and get their photos done. Marilina is a truly gifted photographer who donated her efforts to giving these families beautiful shots! These are so gorgeous!

Long time friends and supporters, Martina and Bruno have donated the completion of our new runs (below)!! Now we have 8 perfectly great runs and space for the kids who must stay in quarentine. Thank you Martina & Bruno! We love you!! Yay!!!
Thanks to the donations of one good man, and friends from Project Animal Worldwide and Pet SOS, we are offering a free vaccination & spay clinic to our neighbors in Piñones in early December. Most Piñones folks don't have money to vet their pets so ADLA will lessen their burden while helping eliminate overpopulation and suffering.
 Last Friday night someone left 3 pups, and a momma (right) at our front gate. I set a trap with yummy food for momma and the same poor hungry kitter went in twice. So today volunteers Ina and Luis were able to coax momma out of hiding by showing her one of her babies! Momma's name is 'Hope'. She is such a sweet little girl. She was terrified till she saw her babies healthy and unharmed.
What a good momma she is too. She never gave up "Hope" to be reunited with her babies. The stray animals of Puerto Rico need your support! We work hard to see our satos adopted!!
 Bethzaida (right) is our newest member of ADLA. She loves the kids and they love her. In her arms, the 8 lb Silky girl, Muñeca, who she adopted yesterday from us. Bexy's hubby, Raul isn't used to sleeping with Muñeca:) That's OK, sometimes I have 5 in my bed snoring away and taking up all my space…….
Our very own beautiful ADLA rescue angel, Chrissy Wallace (left) and her fiance Rob are tying the knot shortly and are also waiting for a new addition to their family, a baby boy!! Here she is with the handsome sato boy she rescued, Ernesto!

Pretty girl Teresa (below) is about 2 yrs. old and is waiting for her forever home. She has been here for a year and has shown herself to be great with very young kids. She is so tender.
Berndt (below) is an adorable, 1.5 yr old feisty, fun and athletic boy. He would be a fabulous hiking dog for a young couple but can only be adopted with another female. He has a beautiful Mastiff face but no one knows what breed his body is:)
