Dan Bubien :: GRINDING THOSE GEARS
Dan Bubien’s sophomore studio album, Grinding These Gears, the followup to his successful 2013 debut Empty Roads, is a self-produced rootsy collection of original songs written by Dan and long-time friend and co-writer Roman Marocco, and recorded by legendary Pittsburgh musician Joe Munroe. Crossing genres from roots and blues, to R&B and soul, Dan’s sound is tied together by classic instrumentation, soulful vocals, and contemporary songwriting.

Dan Bubien is a singer-songwriter-guitarist from Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. With a career that spans over two decades, Dan is constantly refining and redefining his craft with a wide palette of tones and textures, sounds and styles, to express his songwriting through an open, honest and wide catalog of real songs. Debbie Bond :: ENJOY THE RIDE
Enjoy The Ride, Debbie Bond’s fourth studio album, contains 11 tracks, six are originals written by Debbie Bond and her partner, Rick Asherson. The project was recorded in The Shoals by the great Billy Lawson (FAME, Muscle Shoals Sound, Wishbone and more), with assistant Jerry Masters (FAME, Muscle Shoals Sound and more). The result is a fine collection of songs, infused with that big fat, warm and soulful Muscle Shoals, Alabama, sound. The record is a mix of “souly” originals and traditional Alabama blues paying homage to some of Debbie’s mentors – Willie King, Eddie Kirkland and Jody Williams. Debbie and her band kicked at their finest - highlights include Debbie’s soulful vocals and guitar, “Radiator” Rick's outstanding harmonica, groovemeister Dave Crenshaw’s percussion and sizzling horns from Brad Guin - plus guest spots from guitarist Will McFarlane (six years with Bonnie Raitt) and the legendary Spooner Oldham on organ.

BB King’s Band on the Road Again…The Thrill is Not Gone
Keeping The Blues Alive…BB King’s Blues Band can’t stop playing the music that was born in the Mississippi Delta.

If you thought “The Thrill Is Gone” meet BB King’s Blues Band on tour across the United States and hear the sound that made Mississippi “The Birthplace of the Blues.” Many of the original BB King Band members have come together to “Keep the Blues Alive” for their fans and to perpetuate the music that King made famous all over the world.

Myron Johnson, BB King’s Tour Manager has re-assembled the band with celebrated Mississippi bluesman Jesse Robinson, as the frontman. Robinson was singled out by “BB” as his favorite guitarist on numerous occasions, therefore, “Jesse was the obvious choice to lead the band as we hit the road to honor the “King of the Blues,” according to Johnson.

36th European Blues Awards prove a Winner at Tenby Blues Festival Wales
(Wales, UK) - The results of the winners of the European Blues Awards were announced on Saturday 12th of November 2016 at the Tenby Blues Festival, Wales UK. Following last year’s European Blues Awards reveal at the O2 Arena London, this year it was the first time Wales hosted the results and Tenby Blues Festival proved the perfect location. The awards, now in their 36th year are purely the choice of a colossal week long public vote that makes the genre accolade the biggest outside the USA. It was Bluesman Mike Francis, himself a former nominated finalist recently taken on to represent and promote the message within the UK, who read out the winners before festival headliner and twice award nominee Paul Lamb and band took the stage at the De Valence Theatre. (Pictured here is 2016 Winner Best Musician (Performance) Julian Sas from the Netherlands) Find details and the list of winners
