Well Christmas is upon us and in just about one more week we will be wrapping up 2016.  The word on my mind is "Crazy!"  Here's to hoping you all have a safe and healthy holiday week. Don't overlook the music calendar at the end of the newsletter this week. There are some music options for those of you who have some extra free time!
The 2017 Road to Memphis Fundraiser is less than an month away.  Why not put this event on your calendar now? Read on below for more information.

 2017 IBC Fundraiser
Details are coming together so check out the poster below for more information. Ozark Blues Society is once again very excited to bring this spectacular Road to Memphis Fundraiser to the 21c Hotel in Bentonville. Join us as we raise funds to assist in the costs associated with sponsoring the acts representing us in Memphis at the 2017 International Blues Challenge.

Both of our winning acts will be there to
perform as well as local favorites, The Downtown Livewires.  So mark your calendars and keep a watch on this newsletter and our website for more information!

Stocking Stuffer

International Songwriting Competition
In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, ISC 2016 is re-opening submissions until January 2, 2017 for its annual #ISCStockingStuffer promotion, and the fee is a discounted $25 per entry. All songs will be automatically entered into the overall music competition, as well as be eligible for special prizes that include $1,000 in cash, Adam Audio F7 Studio Monitors, UE 900 In Ear Monitors, CAD D90 Microphones, free credits from Radio Airplay, and more. This will be the very last chance to enter ISC 2016, so enter now at
International Blues Challenge
Though some of the special rates rooms have been filled there is still time to get booked in a downtown Memphis Hotel if you are attending the 2017 International Blues Challenge (IBC).  It is also time to consider booking a room and ordering passes.
