For local and regional Blues musicians we have another winning opportunity. You can sign up to compete in Ozark Blues Society's upcoming 2019 Blues Challenge. Registrations have starting coming in, so it's a great time for local artists who might want to take a crack at winning their way to the 2020 International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
Lastly, all blues musicians with CD's released in the last year who are looking for a chance to have their music heard by a broad audience might want to enter their music in the Blues Foundation's Blues Music Awards. Entry fees go up on October 1st, so why not take advantage of the current entry charge!

Ozark Blues Society as supporters of the King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena Arkansas, have a set of two 3-Day VIP tickets to give away to one lucky OBS member. Regular 3-day tickets to the festival cost $85 and the VIP pass gets you SO MUCH MORE!
All current members need to do to
enter is to send an email to OBSVIPTIX@GMAIL.COM with "WIN" in the subject line and their name and current phone number in the body. Your level
of membership determines the number
of entries you receive. You will receive one entry for $15-25 membership, four entries for a $50 membership (friend of OBS), six entries for $75 (beloved friend) and eight entries for $100 (dearly beloved) membership. Current members may log in and use the "donate" tab on the home page to add to their membership level. Just "donate" the amount of a higher membership level and we will change your current expiration date to reflect the additional year at the new level of membership. Please let us know
at the above email address if you decide to upgrade your membership
when you send your email asking to be included in the drawing.

Not a member but want to be included? Blues music released between November 1, 2018 and October 31, 2019 is eligible for consideration for a 2020 Blues Music Award Nomination.

2019 Blues Challenge
It's time to enter! Registration is open until October 11, 2019 for bands and solo/duo artists who want to compete for a spot in the 2020 International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January. As an affiliate of the Blues Foundation, the Ozark Blues Society Blues Challenge will be held Friday, October 25th at The Meteor Guitar Gallery in Bentonville. One band and one solo/duo act will be selected to represent Northwest Arkansas.
