Blues News You Can Use!
Memphis Bound

Wow, everything is getting close. Tomorrow night is the Bound for Beale fundraiser celebration of our local blues challenge winners. We are hoping you
will join us as we show our support
for the Brick Fields Blues Therapy Band as they give one last performance before heading to Memphis where they will join
200 plus competitors as part of
the 2020 International Blues Challenge.
The weather looks like it will be decent, always a plus since it allows you to hang out on Beale with all your IBC friends.
For me, last week I shared about my volunteer position at Hard Rock Cafe, inviting any of you in Memphis to drop by and say hello. WELL, I have been asked to move to a new venue. I have loved my nine years at Hard Rock, but am excited to take on the challenge of learning the ropes at a new location. So, starting this year, I will be at Rum Boogie Wednesday through Friday nights. If you get in the door of this always packed out venue, catch my eye and give me a wave!
If you need more information about tomorrow night's Bound for Beale, check out the article below or visit our website for more information. Once again this week you will find an article related to our 2020 annual meeting and elections. If you have a nominee for the board, please submit your candidate soon as nominations will close soon.
Feel I am missing an event? Just

And always remember, this is YOUR newsletter! Please send feedback or suggestions our way. You can reach me by email at the address below. We appreciate our readers and want
to see your ideas included!
