 Greetings
As you know, superintendent is sending emails about all of the schools she has visited and the many employees who were so happy to be back working in the building. Please don’t give the district the idea that you are ready and willing to go back, if that isn’t the case.
Everything the superintendent or her operatives send out is left to interpretation. Once again, clarity and consistent information is what the employees of DeKalb County School District need now. We have ask for this time and time again.
The district is using scare tactics. Don’t be intimidated by these tactics. Please don’t listen to rumors about your pay and other nonsense. You will continue to work from home and will be paid your salary without a decrease.
ODE will continue to work with GAE to make sure none of your rights are denied. As we have said before and continue to say, no employee should fear for their lives. We are asking all employees to sign the Hardship Form. Stay out of the building for the entire 30 calendar days.
Employees are being bullied by administrators, who are being bullied by the superintendent and the board. This must stop. If you feel as if you are being bullied, please let us know.
