- Saturdays, April 3 through October 30 from 10 am to 1 pm: Mars Hill Farmers and Artisans Market on College Street in Mars Hill
- Thru October 3: With the Rural Heritage Museum at Mars Hill University closed to in-person visits, the museum has taken its newest exhibit to the virtual world. “Opening the Door to Change: Educating Rural Appalachia” is viewable at https://tourwizard.net/ruralheritagemuseum/, where visitors can experience the exhibit in a free online representation of the physical museum.

- Wednesday, April 21 through Saturday, April 24 at 7:30: MHU Theatre Arts Department presents Little Shop of Horrors. The play will be presented in the Ellen Amphitheater. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children. For more information www.sartplays.com
- Thursday, April 22 through June 5: Upcycled: Alterations & Adaptations at Flow in downtown Marshall. The exhibit is to honor Earth Day and consider ways we might repurpose, recycle, reimagine, alter, and adapt. More information at flowmarshall.com
