If you are looking to turn back time or just looking for nostalgia The Florida Classic Music Fest & Car Show is one you will want to put on your list.
We try to make the experience at each Getaway unique and work hard at it so you’ll want to do more. This is one of our fastest growing events because it features a little bit of everything. Classic country, oldies but goodies, grass, classic cars and great food.
The venue is a very large Grassy meadow with very easy sites to get into and plenty of sunshine.
This has become a favorite for many and if you have been there, you already know why.
Our headliners range from more stars of the Grand Ole Opry to the Atlantic City Boys, one of the best tributes to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Their doo-wop will take you back instantly.
Classic Cars round out this event. There is so much more but for now, we thought we would share a few highlights.

 | Yeehaw Music Fest
We're stepping up our game!
Okeechobee is known as the home of the Cowboy but that’s not all. It is also know world wide for its incredible fresh water fishing.
The Yeehaw Music Fest is located just minutes from the banks of Lake Okeechobee.
The festival is held at the Agri Civic Center, a state of the art covered arena every year in January. This getaway sees folks from all over the country including Canada trying to forget about the cold by enjoying the outdoors and stellar shows.
Our next scheduled Getaway features multi instrumentalist, Grammy Award Winning Hit making machine Ricky Skaggs. Ricky is probably one of the best musicians of our life time. His work has earned him 12 #1 hits, an induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. There is only 1 Ricky Skaggs and you can actually meet him at Yeehaw Music Fest. Like all of our excursions, there will be 24 shows over 3 days and not a bad one in the bunch.

Nashville, Tenn. (October 22, 2018) —Ricky Skaggs officially became a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. At the official Medallion Ceremony held in the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum‘s CMA Theatre, Hall of Fame member Garth Brooks, through tear-filled eyes, formally inducted his musical mentor into the historic institution.
“It’s kinda hard to believe that this day has really come,” says Skaggs. “To hear someone say, ‘The newest member of the Country Music Hall of Fame’ are some of the greatest words you could ever hear this side of Heaven! I’m so grateful to be inducted into this revered Hall among these highly honored and most beloved people. It’s beyond humbling.”

About Rodeheaver Boys Ranch
The Rodeheaver Boys Ranch was founded in 1950 by Homer Rodeheaver. Located in Palatka, Florida, the Rodeheaver Boys Ranch was the accumulation of a dream by an orphaned boy. Homer’s mother died when he was only eight years and this created a lifelong desire to help other young boys who experienced the loss of a parent.
Homer, known as Rody to his friends, and Billy Sunday were the most famous revival team of the early 20th Century. Rody and his brothers founded The Rodeheaver Publishers of Sacred Music in Chicago. By 1912, they expanded into Philadelphia and then by 1938 merged with Hall-Mack Publishing Company. A branch office was opened in Los Angeles with the symbol of the firm being a rainbow arched over a line of musical notes based upon Rody’s theme song, “Every Cloud Will Wear A Rainbow If Your Heart Keeps Right.”
