Shari Berman
is a filmmaker whose features include My Life As Abraham Lincoln, Sugar!, Act as If and Detention 101. She edits all her films and began editing as a child by cutting puzzle pieces to make them fit as she thought best, creating some very strange pictures. Shari knew even then that she was on to something and has embarked on a life of making one weird picture after the next. She grew up in the Bronx, enjoys mentoring artists and strives to eat as much sushi as humanly possible. It’s suspected that she has mercury poisoning… her favorite character from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland has always been the Mad Hatter. www.shariberman.com
Pete Sturman has been performing since the early 1990s, coming right out of the gate with his own openly queer and irreverent punk-folk style. Since then, he has written hundreds of songs that run the gamut from poignant to side-splitting and everything in between. At the Moving Body Salon he’ll be sharing some of his newest material, with maybe an old chestnut or two thrown in.

Bryce Leong
is an accomplished writer, musician, and singer. She was devoted to the arts since childhood and attended the prestigious Fiorello H LaGuardia High School. She studied music, and as a prolific writer created many stories, memoirs, and poems.
Bobbie Ellis has been a poet and writer since she was able to talk, and for 35 years has been deeply committed to inquiring through the wisdom of the body, yoga, Continuum, expressive movement therapy, and the creative process. Among her influences are Mary Oliver, Rebecca Elson, and David Bowie. www.somactr.com
John Bianculli is a lyrical and soulful pianist, composer and recording artist. John's dynamic original music is a unique blend of jazz, Latin, Brazilian, rhythm and blues, and world music. His original music can be heard on Telarc and Dream Box records. His song “Bittersweet” made the Contemporary Jazz Charts top-ten list. His music can also be heard on "Jazz Showcase," a major internationally released CD that is a compilation of Telarc's greatest jazz recordings. johnbiancullimusic.com

David Belmont
David Belmont is a mixed media artist and community organizer, writing poetry, memoir and short fiction. His latest collection of poetry, Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da, was just published by The Poetry Box https://thepoetrybox.com/bookstore/obladi-oblada. Other writing has appeared in The Poeming Pigeon, Wildflower Muse and FishFood Magazine. A professional musician for over 50 years, David produced 26 albums. WindWater Excursions spent 8 months on the New Age Voice Top 100 Airplay List and in heavy rotation on syndicated radio Echoes. He is currently on faculty of the East Side Institute, an international center promoting alternative radically humanizing approaches to psychology, education and community building; and lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with visual artist Kim Svoboda and their labradoodle Penelope. https://davidbelmontwriter.wordpress.com

Norman Salant
is a singer/songwriter currently living in New York City. In olden days he was a well regarded new music saxophonist, composer, and recording artist who also performed cameos with The Residents and Romeo Void. As a songwriter he has no fine arts degrees, has won no awards, never toured or performed at any major festivals, and hardly anyone even knows who he is anymore, but he’s released two critically acclaimed albums and is enjoying life as a songwriter who plays around town and tries to infuse life with beauty and meaning and hope through the power of music and song.
