The Music Depot in downtown Rogers has become a home for our Blues Jams, and has supported the Ozark Blues Society of NWA in many ways. So let's go and support the Music Depot's event tomorrow night, featuring some of the best Jazz players in our area -- Stan Adelman, Roby Pantall, Rick Salonen, Garrett Jones, Steve Wilkes, and Special Guest Performers! Registration is now open for our Annual Blues Challenge, set for Sunday, August 3, 2025, at George's Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville!!! Time TBD. Blues bands and Solo/Duo artists, please contact OBS at ozarkbluesnwa@gmail.com to get entry information.

The Board of Directors will have its Annual Election of Officers at our 2nd Thursday Blues Jam on 4/10/25 at the Music Depot. We are accepting nominations from our members up until April 1st, for President, Treasurer, and regular board members. Through the years we have endeavored to bring on people with skills, passion, and experience, that are dedicated to our mission: Keep The Blues Alive in NWA!

The Pinetop Perkins Foundation Workshop Is Now Taking Applicants
|
Ozark Blues Society is pleased to share application information to musicians of all ages, young and old, to attend the Pinetop Perkins Foundation Workshop! The 4-day workshops are led by Grammy-winning Blues Artists for drums, guitar, bass, keys, and vocals. Scholarships are available. The workshops fill up fast, so don't hesitate to sign up as soon as you can, at the link below. The sessions are held at the Hopson Commissary and Shack Up Inn in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and lodging is available on site. It's a party!
The sessions end on Saturday night with a performance at Ground Zero in Clarksdale, MS, with all students jamming with their instructors throughout the night.
