Big Stars and national caliber lineup from opening to Headliner in an intimate setting that puts you near the stage. The Snowy Range Music Festival takes place every year on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Labor Day weekend in Laramie, Wyoming. This year you'll find forty shows running on three stages from noon to midnight. Parking is free, plentiful, and close in to the arena. Camping is available near the stages with both dry camp sites and RV hookups. Vendors serve a great variety of food and beverage at reasonable prices, no gouging.
This is a fun family event and children 12 and under are free and student tickets are discounted. Fans bring their chairs and sit on clean, pretty, Morningstar turf instead of standing in a dusty arena, or a paved lot. The Snowy Range Music Festival features a wide variety of music, although American roots music such as Blues, New Orleans Brass, Zydeco, funk, are central.
This the festival features its first ever Country/Pop star in LeAnn Rimes. Others on the bill are Canned Heat, Tab Benoit, Roy Rogers & the Rhythm Kings, A.J. Croce, BeauSoliel avec Michael Doucet, Rev. Peyton & His Big Damned Band, the Soul Rebels, The March Fourth Marching Band, Vasti Jackson, Glen David Andrews, the Pimps of Joytime, Billy Branch & the Sons of the Blues, Blinddog Smokin', Big Llou Johnson, Doug MacLeod, Lightning Malcolm, and many more.
