Big Bill Morganfield :: BLOODSTAINS ON THE WALL
Black Shuck recording artist Big Bill Morganfield is blazing a new trail with his new CD, Bloodstains On The Wall. Big Bill Morganfield is Masterful, Powerful, Poetic, Fresh. Indeed, there is a definite message in his music that grabs your soul and touches your heart.

Bloodstains on the Wall offers an expanded scope of the blues. From the expected Postwar chestnuts (associated with the likes of Otis Rush, Willie Dixon and his father, Muddy Waters), to original gems like “When You Lose Someone You Love” and “Hold Me Baby.” Big Bill exclaims, “This world we live in is rapidly changing where lives or a life seem to be worth very little. But, all life and all lives have meaning. Black, White, Red, Yellow or whichever color you may be, all lives matter. Too much blood is being spilled on our streets.”

Sidemen: Long Road To Glory - Kickstarter Campaign 2017 Begins January 30th
(Tony Conley, Rock Guitar Daily) - Friends, I need your help.

On January 30, 2017 a Kickstarter campaign for the blues documentary, Sidemen: Long Road To Glory will be publicly launched. The purpose of this campaign is to raise the funds necessary to pay for the licensing of the music used in the film, in order to get the film into distribution. We need your support to do this, both financially and in other ways, which I will get to shortly.
I have been involved with this great film for almost seven years. The movie is the story of blues legends Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin, and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith. But, it didn't start that way. It started off as a live concert document, inspired by the likes of The Band and Martin Scorsese's The Last Waltz. Unfortunately, there could have been no foreseeing the death of these three gentlemen within eight months of each other in 2011.

Author Marie Trout’s New Book, The Blues - Why it Still Hurts So Good explores the healing power of music
