Gonzalo Bergara :: ZALO’S BLUES
Zalo’s Blues is Gonzalo Bergara’s first electric album. Being today one of the most respected Gypsy-Jazz guitarists in the world, Gonzalo expands to an energetic, electric blues/rock guitar oriented album, with 11 original tunes and the legendary “You Don’t Have To Go” by Jimmy Reed.

The album features various styles from straight ahead Texas guitar shuffles, to swing tunes with a very strong guitar lines, a few vocal tunes. Very intense guitar sounds go all the way from an acoustic gospel tune to a Nashville, straight-ahead guitar picking one.

Together for 20 years, Gonzalo Bergara and his trio are based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, playing more than 100 shows around the world today, the trio is known as one of the most powerful and moving trios in their hometown.

Kat Riggins :: BLUES REVIVAL
"It's about the raw emotion in every note", Kat says. “If I can move someone to feel what I feel when I sing a song, then it's all worth it". With her own band, Blues Revival, she travels the world with the intent to "wake up the blues one song at a time!" With this in mind, the Blues Revival album was born.

Of the 10 songs on Blues Revival, two are covers chosen for their sentiment and groove, while the other eight are written by Kat herself. They combine traditional blues with some elements of gospel, southern rock and even hints of hip-hop. “Blues Is the New Black,” for example, is an up-tempo tune about blues music making a comeback. The lyrics are set in a foot stompin’ celebration of gospel drums and bass with blues guitar holding it all together.

Gregg Martinez serves up Bayou Blues and Creole Soul
Gregg Martinez—whose blend of blues, R&B and powerhouse Louisiana soul music he describes as “bayou blues and Creole soul”—was born and raised and still lives in the Cajun country of south Louisiana.

The late Ed Bradley of TV’s 60 Minutes—upon seeing him perform at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival—called Gregg Martinez one of America’s greatest hidden treasures. His talent is the stuff of legend and even after more than forty years, Gregg is better than ever. He has performed throughout the U.S. and has toured South Africa, England, Wales, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Gregg has released eleven albums, including the 2016 release, Soul of the Bayou. This new CD is on Louisiana Red Hot Records label and is Gregg’s second national release on the label. The album was on the 2016 Grammy ballot for Best Traditional Blues Album and was nominated for Best Blues Album by OFFBEAT Magazine’s annual Best of the Beat Awards.
