Challenge Time!

Tonight is the Ozark Blues Society's 2017 Blues Challenge. This is one of our most important events each year. The board of directors at OBS takes our role of affiliate in the Blues Foundation very seriously. Each year we seek to sponsor and/or bring a number of blues events to Northwest Arkansas. Read on below for the list of competitors, schedule, as well as information about tonight's Challenge.
Also below is an article about the extended deadline for the 2017 International Songwriting Competition with links to assist you in finding out more about this cool opportunity.

And above all else....Happy Halloween!
Even with outdoor music pretty much wrapped up for the year the calendar I encourage you to keep an eye on the calendar below. We really have a healthy and exciting music community in NWA.
As always you can always drop me a
note and let me know of upcoming shows and events as well as ideas of what you would like to see in this Newsletter.

"I am trying to get people to see that we are our brother's keeper. Red, white, black, brown or yellow, rich or poor, we all have the blues.
