Tonight is the Ozark Blues Society's 2017 Blues Challenge. This is one of our most important events each year. The board of directors at OBS takes our role of affiliate in the Blues Foundation very seriously. Each year we seek to sponsor and/or bring a number of blues events to Northwest Arkansas. Read on below for the list of competitors, schedule, as well as information about tonight's Challenge.

Join us tonight at the Meteor Guitar Gallery in Bentonville as we host the Ozark Blues Society Blues Challenge. General admission tickets are available tonight for $12 at the door. Limited VIP table seating tickets are also available for $15 each.

Registration has closed and the challenge is on! Join us TONIGHT, Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Meteor Guitar Gallery in Bentonville as Ozark Blues Society hosts our annual Blues Challenge. And what a night it will be! We have a field of 6 for our solo/duo competition followed by 5 bands. The solo/duo acts will kick off the night with the first act beginning at 6:15pm, the band competition will immediately follow the solo/duo beginning at approximately 9:15pm. Due to the early start time, doors will now open at 5:30pm.

The Ozark Blues Society sponsored regional competition is run under the umbrella of our affiliate status with the Blues Foundation and is the first step for acts hoping to win locally and be sponsored to attend the 2019 International Blues Challenge. OBS uses the same format and scoring used at the International Blues Challenge held in Memphis in January.
