Sum-Sum-Summertime!

I've been waiting, what about you? Seems most years are the same....lots of spring rain and storms give way to hot, hot, hot. That begs the question "When does summer really start?" Well, it depends on whether you align with the astrological or the meteorological viewpoint. Some of you took off into your summer adventures with the meteorologists back at the beginning of June...but the summer solstice yesterday means everyone is now on board for summer fun. The Eureka Springs Blues Weekend has come and gone and next up is the July 3rd Bella Vista event. Read on below for all the information on that event as well as a calendar full of local music.
One more week for the article highlighting the new OBS Events Page on Facebook. If you want to share band and performance information, this new page is for you. Posting is open for all musicians and their fans. Check out the article below for more information and the link.

Facebook Events Page
Frequently we receive contacts from bands playing shows in the region or sharing CD releases and other exciting news. We love hearing from everyone and we want to support your endeavors, however we reserve our OBS Facebook page timeline for events OBS is partnering in as well as blues news of national interest.
At the suggestion of our sister society (Spa City Blues Society) president, Larry Glover, we have decided to run a separate Facebook page for YOUR events.
Postings to the timeline are open to everyone. We ask that posts be blues related. They may include, your events and festivals, your band news, and items of interest to blues bands and fans. Ozark Blues Society reserves the right to edit or remove posts that don't follow guidelines and/or are not family friendly.
