On The Road Again

I know....I have used this line before. But reality wins. I am on a road trip with my mom, and whoa, we are seeing parts of America we have never before visited!
We have seen covered bridges in Lancaster County PA, visited Battery Park in NYC then "meandered" a bit through Manhattan before crossing the Manhattan Bridge and driving the length of Long Island. We then rode the Cross Sound Ferry from Orient Point NY to New
London CT. We got to visit with a childhood friend of mine I had not seen for 30 years before heading on north the next day making stops to visit Mystic CT and Newport RI along the way yesterday and we are visiting Plymouth MA this morning before heading to York Beach Maine.
On the business side, it is less than a week away from the opening of the registration for Ozark Blues Society's Blues Challenge and Best Self-Produced CD competitions. You can access all the basic information on www.ozarkbluessociety.org under the "2018 Blues Challenge" and "Best Self-Produced CD" tabs.  If you are planning to enter please visit these pages to become familiar with the requirements. Finally, PLEASE share! Every year we have a great group
of regional musicians compete.
We anticipate 2018 being another awesome competition.
Be sure and scroll down to the calendar to make sure you don't miss the numerous opportunities coming up for live music in and around Northwest Arkansas.
We are still hoping to hear ideas from readers. This newsletter would be better with YOUR input! Thoughts and ideas....articles you want to share...a band or event you want to share information about? As always, you can email me anytime at the address below. We LOVE our readers and want to see
your ideas included!
