One of the things I love about flying is the elimination of all the distractions pulling at me when I'm on the ground. I use the time to meditate, write, and paint, (turbulence is sometimes helpful and a little exciting in the kind of art I do. Perfectionism is impossible).

It's kinda the same thing now... Lots of things have been eliminated.  I'm avoiding large (and even small) gatherings of humans. So it's a good time to pay attention to a few other things:

  • More art
  • Write more poems and funny things
  • Do some creative things with my smart camera
  • Meditate and do yoga
  • Text my favorite people funny stuff
  • Call someone who needs a call
  • Read
  • Love my kitties more
  • Watch funny things and avoid the hyperbolic conglomerate of fear mongering that the media often thrives on
  • Invent deliciously healthy muffins recipes (gluten-free strawberry oat bran is my favorite)
  • Garden
  • Invent Zumba dance moves that would make Lucille Ball proud
But... I don't want to lose connection with the warmth and synergy possible in a creative community. In them, new ideas spark, there's compassionate support, fresh perspective, inspiration, new friends, the kind of structure that makes showing up easy, and I make sure we wrangle the comparison monster so its effects are neutralized.

So I'm sharing at least the top four in that bullet pointed list ^ with those wanting to come along for the ride, who have burnt out on Netflix and passive entertainment, and want a mellow creative journey from the comfort and safety of your own pillow fort.

Come and Find Uber Bliss with me ...

Don't miss out on taking advantage of the social distancing we need to abide to, to go deeper with your creativity.
It's a good time to hone skills in a loving online environment of mindfulness, creativity, relaxation, nurturing, fun, and permission to be imperfect

I'm offering through Zoom my program Finding Uber Bliss: A Wildly Creative Journey to the Present Moment... from the comfort of our pillow forts.
