We are so looking forward to welcoming our members to the DLI AGM 2021 via Zoom at 11am this Saturday 27 March. DLI National Secretary, Eugene O'Sullivan, reports an enthusiastic registration for the meeting already.

Log in will be possible from 10.30 am for an 11am start - Eugene will be emailing you with the link. Do join us - it will be a chance to catch up on all the DLI news for last year, and the year to come, see some familiar faces, and feel as if the drama scene we have all been missing so much WILL return!

DLI/ADCI PLAYWRITING AWARD SPONSOR
We are delighted to announce that we have secured a sponsor for the annual DLI/ADCI Playwriting Award. The Ramor Theatre in Virginia, Co Cavan, has committed to sponsoring the award for three years, with immediate effect. The Clare Drama Radio Play Festival, in conjunction with Scariff Bay Community Radio, continues this weekend, with final adjudications from Paul Brennan on Easter Sunday night.

A moving new play by Frank McGuinness about an Irish father (Stephen Rea) and daughter (Judith Roddy) at visiting hour in a nursing home during the pandemic, will be performed and recorded in The Gate auditorium, and streamed to audiences on April 22nd, 23rd and 24th at 7.30pm.
