We are contacting you in relation to our public consultation on Ireland’s first Arts & Creative Charter for Older People, developed by Age & Opportunity. Age & Opportunity is the leading national development organisation working to enable the best possible quality of life for all of us as we age.
The Charter will set out the arts sector’s commitment to promoting the values and contributions of older people. We are committed to the participation of older people in the arts as artists, audiences, creators, critics, teachers and learners.
This Charter is currently being completed by Age & Opportunity Arts with a co-design group of arts organisations and older people or ‘Experients’ of the arts in Ireland.

We are currently seeking your views or the views of your network/audiences to input into the creation of the charter and its functionality. You can have your say by completing the online survey here, or as a hard copy via your local library. Hard copy surveys are also available to download and print on the website: www.ageandopportunity.ie/arts-charter-survey/

If you can help us spread the word, or assist anyone you know in completing the survey, we would greatly appreciate this and any support or input you can offer. For further information please feel free to reach out to us on the contact details below.

The survey closing date is Monday the 8th of November. We will need all hard copies of the survey sent to us via post or emailed as a scan or photograph before Friday the 12th of November.

For questions please contact arts@ageandopportunity.ie. To complete the survey by phone please call 085 822 1869 during office hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
