DLI PLAYWRITING TALK & PERFORMANCE 14 MAY
DLI hosted a most successful talk and performance in TUS Athlone last Saturday as an Athlone Finals fringe event, sponsored by TUS (special thanks to Brian Toolan). Following a rehearsed reading with professional actors of the 2020 DLI/ADCI Playwriting Competition runner -up play THE CENTIPEDE by Frank Houlihan, a discussion and information session followed.

The meeting was opened by Maura Clancy, Dean of Applied Sciences & Technology TUS, (and Corofin DS member!) and chaired by Willie O'Brien with three of the participating playwrights, Playwriting Judging Chairman Walker Ewart, Ramor Theatre's Padraic McIntyre and DLI's Ollie Kenny & Valerie McGuile contributing. A lively Q & A concluded the meeting, followed by a most sociable wine & cheese reception!
