Art Workshop How to Do Portraits in Charcoal
|
Nan Sherry's workshop will teach how to render a representational portrait from life using charcoals, charcoal pencils, white chalk and a few tools. We will learn to observe and see the model, establish a composition, create values, and sketch an accurate head, neck and shoulders.
The Portrait Workshop will be in the comfortable and inspirational Gallery339 Hot Springs.

Join Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre June 30 - July 10, 2022 for The Hunchback of Notre Dame and be swept away by the magic of this truly unforgettable musical and incredible cast!
Based on the Victor Hugo novel with songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film’s Academy Award-nominated score, as well as new songs by Menken and Schwartz. Peter Parnell’s new book features verbatim passages from Hugo’s gothic novel. A sweeping score and powerful story make The Hunchback of Notre Dame an instant classic.
Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre is proud to announce that this production will feature American Sign Language and will be a highly immersive experience. Quasimodo will be played by both WNC actor Rey Castillo who is deaf and Richie Barrella.
