DLI NEWSLETTER 19 JANUARY 2023
LATEST NEWS
It's the first DLI Newsletter of 2023, and we hope that you are all ready for a great year of drama ahead.  We have been receiving emails & calls in the Dundrum office, suggesting that a number of groups which have remained inactive since the pandemic intend to take to the stage again this year -excellent news. (See photos below sent in by Compántas Lir who made their first post-Covid appearance at the end of 2022). Here's hoping that 2023 will see the full return of the vibrant drama scene that we all know and love.  Do keep in touch with us, and let us know about your shows throughout the year -we'll be more than happy to spread the word here in the newsletter, on facebook & website!

DLI LIBRARY
Hi Folks! One of the many exciting plans we have for the library this year is to refresh the collection with some new scripts. Our first order is already on the way, but there will be more soon. If you have any suggestions for scripts you think should be included, we'd love to hear from you. Send me an email at dlilibrarydundrum@gmail.com

COMPANTAS LIR
Here are some photos from our Compántas Lir Night of Comedy. This event took place in the run up to Christmas from Nov 22nd - 25th in Carnmore Community Centre, Carnmore, Co. Galway. Two one act productions were staged, Hallowe'en by James Scotland and A Night Out by Frank Vickery. The 4-night run was very well attended, selling out most nights. The proceeds of this event will also be put towards upgrading the stage-related facilities in the Centre.
