Two brothers lost their lives through gun violence, and one was involved in lottery scamming so this is the main source from which my inspiration came from for this song.

Ras Vuyo is an artist and a producer from South Africa, and Love & Unity is his second album as an artist. As a producers Ras Vuyo’s riddims have been voiced by artists like Freddie Mc Gregor, Jimmy Riley, Prince Malachi, Yellowman and many other international Reggae artist.
The Love & Unity album was written with the hope to touch the human Spirit in all its diverse expressions and interests, that is both musically and lyrically. The album has 13 tracks including two Dub versions. Sometimes in pursuit of our personal interests we can cause harm to fellow humans, the Love & Unity album hopes to encourage people to consider the option of Love instead of hurting others.
On the album Ras Vuyo features Isha Bel, Nazamba, Jack Radics, Crosby Bolani, Bulelani Black Bee and the Meditators. Isha Bel singing the harmonies on 10 of the songs and is featuring Grub Cooper on Africa in me and you.
The music is played by Azania Band featuring Dean Fraser, Manjul, Odel Johnson and Saymon Roger.

Masicka’s ‘Generation of Kings’ Debuts At No. 1 On iTunes Reggae Masicka topples Bob Marley for the number one spot on iTunes Reggae chart with his new album "Generation of Kings"
Dancehall artiste Masicka has earned a new milestone as his sophomore album, Generation of Kings, debuted atop the iTunes Reggae chart just hours after the project was released on Friday.
Two versions of the album were released, and both are now at the number 1 and 2 positions on the chart- pushing down Bob Marley’s ‘Legend’ from the top spot following an almost continuous two-year run on the chart.
Masick’s second album is released under Def Jams Recordings, which he signed with earlier this year in a multi-album deal. The project features fellow Jamaican artistes Popcaan, Dexta Daps, Spice, Chronic Law, and Lila Iké, Afrobeats artiste Fave on the track “Fight For Us” and Haitian-American singer Fridayy “Wet.”
.Among those who congratulated the artiste were Dexta Daps, Jashii, producer Markus Banton, Jesse Royal, Hottarice, and I-Octane, among others.

Good Vibez Presents and PR Entertainment, Inc., the teams behind Tahoe’s ever-popular Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival, are proud to announce the lineup for the Lake Tahoe Winter Reggae Festival 2024. On February 17th and 18th—President’s Day weekend—reggae royalty Damian 'Jr Gong' & Stephen Marley and fan favorites, Stick Figure will take the stage at the brand-new Tahoe Blue Event Center in Stateline, Nevada.
Tickets for Lake Tahoe Winter Reggae Festival are on sale now. Grammy Awards 2024: Recording Academy Says 6% Of New Members Are Associated With Reggae
|
Of the over 2,400 music professionals who joined the Recording Academy in 2023, six percent (or at least 144) are associated with Reggae music, the organization has reported. This figure mirrors the 2022 statistics, when the Academy said it accepted 2,700 new members, with six percent linked to the Jamaican genre. According to a report on its 2023 New Member Class, out of 22 genres, only Children’s Music (5%), Spoken Word (5%), and Comedy (1%) ranked lower than Reggae where voting representation is concerned. Among the genres, Pop leads with 41% representation, followed by R&B (29%), Rock (23%), and Rap (22%).
