This weekend - Bankie Banx's 2024 Moonsplash Music Festival at Anguilla's Iconic Dune Preserve

Out Of Many One Productions proudly presents a Reggae Birthday Bash featuring reggae vocalist and recording artist, Prezident Brown, on Friday, April 19, 2024. The event will be at the Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center in Berkeley. In addition, The Nyabinghi Drummers will be drumming traditional Nyabinghi which is a Rastafarian celebration with chanting and drumming with rhythms that shaped reggae music as we know it today.
Prezident Brown is a champion of the new roots and reality consciousness reggae movement. Prezident Brown entertains, informs and inspires emphasizing positive messages”.
Promoter, Carlton Campbell and his son Howard both have April birthdays and what better way to celebrate than with a Reggae Bash with Nyabinghi, which they both participate in.

Sister Carol is an electrifying Grammy nominated, award winning veteran reggae artist. She is also known as the Black Cinderella and Mother Cultural. She carries a heartfelt roots lyrical vibrations. After receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from City College in New York in 1983 she set out on her musical career and has produced nineteen albums over the past 40 years. She is a pioneer and a pillar of reggae music. She is one of the most highly accomplished, glass ceiling shattering, charismatic and unique artists in reggae's rich, robust history.
An International Superstar she has toured the globe from her birthplace in Jamaica to Japan from Brazil, to the motherland: Senegal, Gambia, Ivory Coast, to Columbia, Thailand, New Caledonia, and France. She has toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada. Sister Carol has lectured at two Universities in California and at a music festival in Brazil.
Sister Carol recently performed on the Hullabaloo Community Festival, The Truckee Reggae Festival, The Oregon Reggae Fest, The Sista fest in Toronto, The Junior Reid Birthday Bash in Jamaica, The Oregon Country Fair, The Ital Food Fest in Jamaica and scheduled to perform on Earthday at The WorldBeat Center in San Diego and The waterfront Festival in Baltimore.
In addition to her musical career, Sister Carol has appeared in several movies, directed by the late Jonathan Demme, including Something Wild, Married to the Mob, Rachel’s Getting Married, and Ricki And The Flash. She has raised four children, and has twelve grandchildren, and she currently lives in Jamaica.
Sister Carol is a Warrior Queen and a true Renaissance woman who continues to tour the world and teach her message in her musical classrooms. The majestical vibrations continue.

Jamaal Mark Anthony Saunders, known professionally as Jay Shephard, is world renowned for his distinct and original sound. This genre-blending singer is a dynamic reggae fusion artist and vocalist who was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas.
Early influences by artists such as Bob Marley, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Michael Jackson and Gentleman all form the dynamic vibes released by this eclectic artist. The name “Jay Shephard” resulted from a traumatic near death experience that shifted the entire course of his life. He was shot in the face by a friend, which resulted in young Jamaal loosing his left eye. This entire incident steered Jay onto a spiritual journey of self discovery, where he was gifted with the ability to sing.
In 2013 Jay Shephard landed a distribution deal with SONY Red. Jay has worked with top Jamaican producers Troyton Rami (Black Shadow Records), Miller 9, Dre Day and many more to produce hits like “No Surrender", “Feelings ”, "Go Get It" and "Hold It". Jay continues to make his mark on the international music community with his innovative style and unique sound.
In 2021 Jay was awarded a Billboard for his participation on the "Tropical Houses: Cruises to Jamaica 2nd edition" album. He also published his first book "Take A Shot at Your Dreams", to encourage his listeners to strive for greatness. He continues to work diligently to cultivate his record label Good Vybz Nation LLC.
