Commencement Ceremonies
Sunday, May 12, 2024 La Crosse Center
|
There will be three ceremonies:
- 9:30 a.m.
- College of Business Administration
- School of Education (all majors)
- 12:30 p.m.
- Associate Degree Candidates
- College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities
- 3:30 p.m.
- College of Science & Health
Undergraduate Student Instructions

Students should arrive at the La Crosse Center 45 minutes prior to the ceremony to receive specific instruction.

| 2. |
You must wear a cap and gown in order to participate in the commencement program.
|
| 3. |
Upon your arrival at the La Crosse Center, please proceed to the north side of the building and enter under the La Crosse Center logo. Once inside the entry, please proceed straight ahead to the stairwell to go down to North Hall.
|
| 4. |
Once inside North Hall, locate your College or School and advance to the tables to receive your name reader card. Only graduates will be allowed through this entrance—no family and guests will be permitted into this area.
|
| 5. |
Student Marshals will be scattered throughout the area to answer any questions and direct you where to go—they will be dressed in GRAY gowns.
|
| 6. |
Coat racks will be available.
|
| 7. |
North Hall area is not a secure area. Please refrain from bringing any valuables.
|
| 8. |
Parking: • La Crosse Center parking ramp located on 2nd Street & Jay Street • Parking ramp located on Jay & Front Streets
|
| 9. |
The ceremony will last approximately 2 hours. Doors to the La Crosse Center open 60 minutes before the ceremony.

No tickets are required to attend the commencement ceremonies. A maximum of six (6) guests per graduating student is recommended.
|
| 11. |
If you do not plan on attending the Spring Commencement ceremony you do not need to notify anyone—you simply do not show for the program. NOTE: Diploma covers are provided to graduating students at the Commencement ceremony. If you do not attend a ceremony, you may request that your diploma cover is mailed to you. There is a $15 fee for shipping/handling.
