Support Stitchie's rehabilitative journey
|
Dear family, friends, and well-wishers,
We are reaching out to you during this incredibly challenging time. Our beloved Cleve "Lt. Stitchie" Laing, a husband, father, and friend,
has recently suffered a severe brain haemorrhage that has left him unresponsive.
We urgently need you to join us to provide the help needed in a long-term care facility, where he can receive rehabilitation care. Your donation will make a difference by bringing hope to Lt. Stitchie and his family during this difficult time. Your generosity and prayers mean the world to us. We are very grateful for your support to help cover the costs of his transfer, medical care, and living expenses in the long-term care home. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring hope to Cleve and his family during this difficult journey.
Please consider contributing to this campaign and sharing it with others who may also be able to help. Your generosity and prayers mean the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for your support.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Canada’s most celebrated Reggae recording artist, Dubmatix, teams up with England-based Jungle pioneers, Ragga Twins, in this hot summer track! Dubmatix first burst onto the music scene and into the heads of reggae-and-bass music fans worldwide with his debut release Champion Sound Clash in 2004.
Today, he is firmly established as one of the top reggae producers in the world, with no less than six chart-topping releases in a row, including critically acclaimed Sly & Robbie Meet Dubmatix.
London UNITY sound system veteran MCs Deman Rocker and Flinty Badman are Ragga Twins or "RTC”. AllMusic called them "crucial cogs in the development of U.K. dance music."
Ragga Twins are now enjoying a lot of success in the EDM scene, since doing the two tracks with Skrillex. Together, Dubmatix and Ragga Twins show why they have great chemistry with "Basslines & Speakers"

Vaughn Benjamin, the voice of Midnite and Akae Beka, is one of the most prolific reggae lyricists of the modern era. He was a scholar, poet and teacher. He released over 80 albums in a 25-year period. In late October of 2019, Vaughn travelled to Grass Valley, CA to record at Ras Biblical’s studio, Trinity Farm Music. Earlier this year, the album “Living Testament” album was released from those sessions. Yet, there’s more to this story!
In Biblical’s words: “THE AKAE BEKA SCROLLS manifested through the creative brilliance of Vaughn Benjamin as super-producer magnetizing the musicians to this inity of spirit and mind, calling on all skillfulness. These 12 dubs are a sound of veteran players of instruments inna oneness and brothers inna oneness across the whole earth! Coming together for a reason, each dub precisely directed by Vaughn. With humbleness each musician brought to life in real time such harmony and powers, this music is the reason, the cream of the crop.”
An all-star team gathered, including: Ras Pulse - drums & percussions; Scott Davis - drums; Kenyatta Itola - bass; Ryan ‘Ishence’ Willard – guitars; Manuel ‘Go A Chant’ Guerra - keys, bass & percussion; Ras Kemo - percussion. He laid out his creative vision by humming what he wanted each musician to play. Each dub was composed and directed by Vaughn. THE AKAE BEKA SCROLLS is a unique album in the discography of Akae Beka. It’s an instrumental album with several interludes of Vaughn singing and playing acoustic guitar. It is available on CD and high-quality download on September 6th courtesy of Go A Chant, Trinity Farm Music, and I-Roots Records.
The beautiful cover artwork was created by Marcus Wilson.
Order the CD at: www.irootsrecords.com/akaemidnite and www.iroots.bandcamp.com

It will make us very sad if you do, and perhaps your removal will be the one the makes us decide this no longer worth doing at all, and all the information we provide will go away forever and musicians will sit home alone at night and cry because they have no one to play for because no one knows about their shows or music.
