- Unmissable Happenings at Georgia Breweries
|
Arches Brewing's new brewpub is open for business in the inviting environs of Atlanta Utility Works. Located at 2903 RN Martin Street in East Point, the AUW ranks as a beautifully restored historic space that combines the appeal of Cultured South, Pure Abundance, Golda Kombucha and Arches Brewing to create an exceptional destination for social gatherings and special events. Head to AUW soon to enjoy special food items and taste beers from Arches, including Lloyd’s Light, Mexican Empire, I'm Not Bitter-You're Bitter, Bogen Pilsner and Moment in Time IPA. Every Thursday night, Atlanta Utility Works hosts a karaoke and music trivia event. Grab a microphone and join in.
 Savannah's Service Brewing ranks as a favorite brewery in the charming city, and the owners are dedicated to supporting our service personnel with special events and charitable donations. For a great example, visit Service's "Feels Like Summer Gift Market" on June 7. Grab a cold beer and check out the 40+ local vendors in the air-conditioned brewery. A portion of every pint supports local charities.
 The annual Tucker Brewing Beer Me 5K rolls around again on May 31 at 10 AM at the brewery. Participants will enjoy a family-friendly, flat running course. After the race, attendees end up at Tucker Brewing to experience classic German-inspired beers, live music, a sauna, cold plunges, local vendors, artists and other activities. The event benefits the Veteran Empowerment Organization.
 NoFo Gainesville plans an outlet for everyone's happy feet at its Silent Disco on May 16. The Gainesville and Cleveland locations also hold inaugural Lagerfests on June 7-8, where attendees can sip from an exceptional range of classic lagers and try new-fangled, creative versions. Meanwhile, NoFo Cleveland offers a tail-wagging dog show on May 17 with unique beers. This location also plans a spicy low-country boil for late June.
Okay, this is not about a Georgia brewery, but it has a Georgia brewery connection. After Tilray Brands purchased Terrapin Beer Company in Athens, Georgia, Terrapin president Dustin Watts moved on to a "top-secret" new venture in North Carolina. Friends and fans of Dustin can now visit him at his new Weevil Gear & Beer in Brevard, North Carolina. Dustin's innovative venue melds a premium mountain bike and adventure gear retail outlet with an inviting craft beer bar that includes two beer gardens. Draft beer, wine, hard seltzers, cider and sake are all available.
 June 7 brings StillFire Brewing's (Suwanee) annual "Dog Days" celebration, which showcases dozens of dog-friendly activities throughout the day. In addition, head to StillFire throughout the month of June for FIFA Club World Cup watch parties and exciting beer specials.

Cask ale in Argentina? Hell, yes! And Buenos Aires has amazing food, bars, breweries and cool weather in our hot summertime. Grab an air ticket to beautiful (and affordable) Buenos Aires and check out the wonderful Real Ale Notre Dame (RAND) Latin American cask ale celebration! Craft beer distributor Modern Hops is excited to tell everyone in Georgia that San Diego's AleSmith Brewing is in the building. Modern Hops currently distributes a number of extraordinary AleSmith beers in the Peach State.
IPA, AleSmith Brewing Company (7.25% American IPA) is a classic IPA bursting with massive hop aromas of grapefruit, pine, and tropical fruits from huge additions of Columbus and Citra hops. (Available in cans and kegs).
Speedway Stout, AleSmith Brewing Company (12% Imperial Stout) is an imperial coffee stout with notes of dark fruit, toffee, and caramel. [Untappd 4.17] (Available in cans and kegs).
Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout: Monster's Park Chocolate Espresso Edition, AleSmith Brewing Company (13.6% Imperial Stout) is a collab with Modern Times where the two breweries combined Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout with Monster's Park then added espresso and Dominican cacao nibs for a smooth, roasty flavor profile. Expect rich notes of chocolate and coffee, with a boozy warmth that rounds it all out. [Untappd 4.26](Available in cans).
Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout: Vanilla Shake, AleSmith Brewing Company (14% Imperial Stout) is a double coffee stout collab with Mikkeller. It's a barrel-Aged blend of Speedway Stout and Beer Geek Vanilla Shake using locally roasted coffee and three varieties of vanilla beans. [Untappd 4.29](Available in cans).
