Watch for Accidental Masterpieces
Dear ,

Many people are turning to art and creativity right now to find calm, sanity, and joy. This is our only life .. let’s keep the fun in it.

Daily dubious actions in the news can take our joy away. Don't let it.

This amount of stress causes illness and chronic unhappiness. Buffer!

Take back your power ... to create. It's affirming restorative ... and there's no need to worry whether you're good at drawing or not. That's not the point, this workshop is for those who are intimidated by art or creativity. Or those who like a little structure in order to focus. No skill is required - just a little willingness.

Let’s get into that playful state that makes creativity possible. Through off-beat prompts for both writing and art, you will be invited to let go of the fear that stops people from enjoying creative expression and keeps them away from a process that cushion our harsh realities and allow joy to come through. Wild Abandon  may either result in an accidental masterpiece or a simply good time.

Using fleeting multimedia projections, poetry, music, the silly and absurd, you will be tricked into effortlessly colliding with your true creative voice without overthinking or scaring it away.

Any perfectionistic tendencies, comparison to others, hesitancy, and/or immobilizing self-judgment will be terribly confused and ask to be excused. This class will focus on mindfulness techniques to make creativity easier. Designed for intimidated beginners to seasoned pros wanting to explore a freeing approach.

You will experience:

Ways to sketch and use watercolor that defy self-doubt and crippling comparison.

The unleashing of a deeper creative voice through the cultivation of intuition and mindfulness.

What it’s like to generate a plethora of sketches in a short amount of time under the influence of an altered state of sketching.

How to make sketching and painting not only easier but relaxing, addictive, and even, I dare say, a blast.

The creation of at least three sketches you’ll want to frame, share with the world, or simply become.

A few poem or prose pieces

"The object isn’t to make art,
it’s to be in that wonderful state
that makes art inevitable .
