 September ~ crisp, fresh, swirling leaves, sweet breezes on my skin, the enchanting evening skies, the golden and blue sky frosted with clouds.
Our Earth spins on her axis, she steadfastly revolves in her orbit around our sun ... and children laugh out loud when they're tossed in the air.
Central Park's lush grasses and voluptuous trees, wave to us, upside down and sideways, whispering secrets in our ears like Rumi's breeze at dawn.
We lean in to listen, and birds whistle by us, eavesdropping.
I ride through Broadway's bright canyons of light, after midnight, passing revelers sweetly savoring their saunter and banter in mellower, slower moods, beneath indigo skies.
I do not understand the times that we live in. Yet. Perhaps one day, I will. But I know: there are layers and layers of stars out there, beyond the vastness and the depths my eyes can see.
 I know Someone with beauty, love and care made us, and made us to know love, know beauty, know care.
There are times I feel surrendered into the splendor. When that is all I see, feel, or need to know. To breathe and to softly know the stars breathe too, and that Someone knows and loves us. All.
