Following a successful premiere in San Antonio in late March, Texas Rockers continues its regional rollout with screening events at Five Central in Houston on May 7 and Flamingo Cantina in Austin on May 9—bringing the film directly to the communities that helped shape its story.

Regina, SK — The Regina Reggae Festival (RRF26) is preparing for its upcoming edition and is now inviting volunteers and vendors to take part in building this year’s festival.
RRF26 is a community-driven music festival centered on live reggae and local bands, bringing diverse communities together in Regina. As planning moves forward, organizers are focused on assembling the team and partners that will bring the event to life.
Volunteer opportunities are now open across multiple areas, including event operations, hospitality, logistics, and media. RRF26 is seeking individuals who want to contribute to a growing cultural platform and be part of the execution on the ground.
Vendor applications are also open. Food vendors, artisans, and local businesses are encouraged to apply. The festival is curating a marketplace that reflects the energy and diversity of the community.
As part of the lead-up, RRF26 will host a fundraiser on May 9, serving as a community kickoff and activation point for volunteers, vendors, and supporters.
RRF26 continues to position itself as a platform built with and by the community, with a focus on live music, collaboration, and shared experience.

Known for their global hits and electrifying stage presence, the duo will deliver an “Up Close & Personal” experience for fans in an intimate setting.

Tanto Metro and Devonte, a major pioneering force of the dancehall movement, has been creating hits for over two decades now. In the late '90s, they were able to pave the way for many reggae artistes. They tapped into the international mainstream markets during a time when it was unheard of for a Jamaican artiste to reach the charts outside of their home country. Tanto and Devonte's instant chemistry and talent led them beyond Jamaica and into the U.S. Top 40 Billboard chart not once, but twice. Their first hit, "Everyone Falls in Love," swept up several major awards in 1998 including the Tamika and South Florida Reggae Soca Awards; and the ASCAP 2000 Rhythm and Souls Music Awards for being one of the top reggae artistes in 1999. The single hit the top 40 R&B and pop U.S. billboard charts and aired on radio throughout the globe. The subsequent album, bearing the same name was released by Sony Epic Records in 1999

We also presented a donation check of Jamaican One Million Dollars to Ms. Diana Brown Miller, the CEO of the Black River Hospital Foundation in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. The funds were raised by a GoFundMe campaign, by Martin’s International Foundation and its more than forty donors to help rebuild the hospital Diabetes, Kidney Disease Patient Services and the Maternity Ward.
