Peter Lloyd Releases New Single 'Woman'
|
Jamaican reggae artist Peter Lloyd releases his new single 'Woman', a beautiful John Lennon cover. The single was produced by the legendary Jamaican producer and saxophonist, Dean Fraser.
The track release comes with the compliment of the official music video which was shot by Warrior Films JA on the picturesque property of
Roundhill Resorts in Montego Bay.
'Woman' is the first single from Peter Lloyd's upcoming and third studio album, slated for release later this year.

Don Carlos - April California shows
|
Don Carlos is a classic well loved international reggae artist with his Dub Vision band featuring a horn section and female vocals. Don Carlos's strong catalog of songs are great listening music, healthy and clean for the young and old. His music appeals to people from all walks of life. His vinyl and CD's spread out worldwide before everything went online. Don's live shows are in great demand. He and his musicians regularly tour Africa, Europe, North America and South America. He also periodically works as a special guest with Slightly Stupid. From 1989 to 1994 Don was the lead vocalist for Black Uhuru during which time he toured and sang on four Black Uhuru albums - Now, Mystical Truths, Iron Storm and Strong. Don is also very popular in Africa. His show at the Kasarani Sports Grounds in Nairobi Kenya in 2010 made history drawing an estimated 150,000 people.

Reasoning with Mellow Mood about their NEW Album LARGE

1. What is the inspiration behind your new release LARGE?
We’ve been working a lot in the last five years, both on tour and in the studio. We understood what we are able to do and what we are not, knowing your limits is a turning point. You can study all the styles and learn as much as you can but at the same time you have to stick to the real YOU and doing so music becomes more natural,you won’t force yourself trying things that just don’t fit you well. This album was exactly this: we think we found our sound together with Paolo Baldini and the band plays real tight. We got rid of all that’s unnecessary in terms of song writing, arranging, interpreting... We wanted the album to sound tuff but elegant and also mature, we wanted to record our best album and we believe we made it.

Prez is a gifted vocalist who has been focusing on his calling as a singer from an early age. He has never wavered in his focus. Empress Akua "Gwaan (Dutty Babylon)" Single Out Now On Issachar Muzik
|
Empress Akua comes with a roots and culture message in the form of a cautionary tale in “Gwaan (Dutty Babylon)” a single produced by Jah Eye and released February 9, 2018 on the Issachar Muzik label distributed through Tuff Gong International. The song is a follow up to her July 2017 single “Its Cold Out There”. A heavy bass line sounds the alarm for Empress Akua to invoke a command delivered in Jamaican patois to “gwaan” or go on to the symbolic Babylon, “you can go, but you can’t hide.”
