Account Settings
About This Feature
The Account Settings page is divided into six main sections, organized in a menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Click the title of any section to edit specific settings.
How To Use This Feature
Under "Account" in the main menu, select "Settings". On the next page, along the left-side menu, you will see the following options:
[+] Member Profile
Member Profile is where you can maintain a valid mailing address, as required by the
CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. There is also a space for your contact information, which allows us to stay in contact with you about your account. After making updates, click save at the bottom of the page. This is the address that will go into the footer of your newsletter, so ensure that it is accurate.
Content Editor
Content Editor Mode: Adjust your default settings for creating email newsletters. The top of the page lists the three options and gives a description about that option. Most accounts will be set to Rich Text.
Editor Navigation Warning: Check this box to receive warning before accidentally navigating away from the newsletter editing process. Unless you like losing unsaved work.
Content Sharing: If you don’t like sharing your email marketing content with everyone, we don’t blame you. You can opt to require people to input a password before importing your prized newsletters.
Note: Don’t forget to select save at the bottom of the page!
[+] Footer Options
Footer Language: Lets you change your footer language to any of our 14 offered languages from the drop-down menu.
Footer Style: The bottom of your email newsletter needs some style. Add tagging for social networking sites like Facebook and StumbleUpon, and select your premade or custom footer for your newsletters. Contact us for custom footer options.
[+] Tracking Analytics
Tracking analytics allows you to enable and update automatic Google Analytics Tracking for your newsletter campaigns. If you are adding Google Analytics Tracking, input the link into the given field and click save.
[+] Social Networks
Social Networks enables integrated sharing. Click enable social networking integration if you want to include a social networking sharing tool and Facebook "Like" button into outgoing email content. This will also add a swanky social networking share bar to the online view of your newsletter.
[+] Integrated Networks
Integrated Networks provides options for communicating between other MyNewsletterBuilder, Inc. sites with your MNB account. You can use specific usernames to pull event and multimedia content from MyNewsletterBuilder, Inc. websites. The websites are integrated by default when you are use the same username for all your MyNewsletterBuilder, Inc. accounts.
Best Uses
Make sure you keep your information current in these settings. For example, the member settings feature keeps track of your website, your send and return email address, and your sender name. MNB pulls this information to populate your newsletter, so any changes you want to see on your newsletter will need to be reflected here.
Your settings enable you to track and integrate your email marketing with the rest of your marketing and online presence. The more comprehensive your approach is, the more effective you will be.
